Trendwest Resorts gives you time-share resorts via its affiliate WorldMark,
which is a points-based vacation club that deals only with with Trendwest. As
good news to members, Trendswest programs afford travelers the flexibility of
credits which can be applied to any Trendwest property in Canada, Fiji, USA
and Mexico.
If you join Trendwest you will never be alone for it has a membership base
of over 200,000 vacationing at various locations including prime areas such
Palm Springs in California and Steamboat Springs in Colorado.
Like with every timeshare club membership, if you join Trendwest , you will
be required to pay a yearly maintenance fee which funds are used to keep the
resort in excellenct condition for occupation. Members have the option to pay
yearly or quarterly as their convenience permits. Aside this fee, you may be
charged a Transient Occupancy Tax (T.O.T), at some resorts. This charge is used
to cover the city's police, fire or garbage services extra work due to the presence
of the resort. This is a not a large fee; just a few Dollars.
Trendwest provides uniform rights for membership. So whether you are a new
member, banqueted member or had rights of membership transferred to you, you
enjoy the same rights. Each member receives a card detailing out guidelines,
photos and ands vital information about resorts. Members also receive the Destinations
magazine, a monthly mag that provides information on Trendwest and current events
in the resort industry. There is also the free monthly newsletter, emailed out
to members. The newsletter informs members what is happening in the world of
Worldmark, reviews resorts and publishes resorts available for sale.
